how can we be a better
resource to our neighbourhood?

Urban Abbey wants to find out the best way we can work with our neighbors to create a great neighborhood.   The radius of our parish is 1.4km.  The borders of our neighbourhood are John St. to our South; VanHorne St. to the North; The Waterfront to the East and Pine St or McKibbon St to our North.

If you live in that neighborhood, and you were not home when we knocked on your door, please click the button below and fill out a survey online!

Our Neighbourhood Needs & Resource Assessment begins Monday, July 17.  We may be knocking on your door!  We are seeking to discover what the felt needs of our neighbours might be and what resources are already present in our neighbourhood to meet those needs. This will help us to then strategically plan for the year ahead!

Summer Sermon Series
-That Great City -

The stench of Ninevah's degeneracy had reached the nostrils of God.  He wanted to give the city one last chance to become great and good.  Enter Jonah the prophet.
This series explores the dynamic, unfailing love of God for all he has made.
It poses the question - what do I need to learn from the city?

The best and most important way to become connected with the life of the Abbey is to become involved in an Abbey Cell.
A Cell is a safe place to encounter the transforming presence of Jesus, develop durable friendships and be helped to reconstruct our lives in alignment with the Jesus way of being.
